Este próximo septiembre tendrá lugar en Gran Canaria el 17th International Conference on diseases of fish and sellfish organizado por la EAFP. Se hacen eco de la propuesta procedente del análisis de los retos del sector que en la pasada conferencia de San Sebastián se presentó y promueven la celebración de un interesante workshop en el que varios socios del Clúster Acuiplus van a participar activamente:

Fish health in Mediterranean Aquaculture, past mistakes and future challenges

The workshop will focus on the socio-economic impact of infectious diseases (including viral, bacterial and parasitic) for bass and bream production in the Mediterranean basin. The expected output of the workshop will be an agreed document working as baseline for future initiative focusing on relevant diseases in the area.
